Optimizing the Management of Natura 2000 Network in Lithuania

HFFA Research just won a tender for an EU expert study with the aim of providing an overview on EU best practices on innovative agri-environmental measures. The tender was organized within the framework of the project “Optimizing the management of Natura2000 network in Lithuania”. It is financed by the Republic of Lithuania and the EU@LIFE Programme, which is the European Union’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action.

In the planned report, we will review and analyze best practice experiences of agri-environmental measures with respect to biodiversity conservation in other EU Member States. Subsequently, recommendations to improve biodiversity conservation will be drafted for the Lithuanian agricultural sector. For this project, we will closely cooperate with the Baltic Environmental Forum. We are looking forward to innovative findings and outcome-driven recommendations!
