What available modern application technologies are currently employed by German farmers? What are possible future developments of the status quo and how are they influenced? Modern application technologies are already widely utilized by farmers in Germany and further future increases are expected. Important incentives for the employment of new technologies include environmental protection and decreased constraints, while the cost of technology and insufficient profitability inhibit this development.
