Assessments of Climatic Impact Drivers published
Together with our co-authors from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and GIZ ProSoil, we published several assessments of climatic impact drivers.
These describe how seven important climatic impact drivers will change in the future:
- Mean temperature
- Mean precipitation
- Precipitation cycle
- Very hot days
- Heavy precipitation frequency
- Heavy precipitation intensity
- Extremely dry months
The assessments were conducted as part of our current assignment with the GIZ ProSoil program, where we conceptualize a monitoring system for climate change adaptation effectiveness. Therefore, we created the assessments for the ProSoil intervention areas in Benin, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Madagascar and Tunisia.
