In cooperation with GIZ International Services and on behalf of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HFFA Research is supporting the development of a national agricultural strategy focused on sustainability and organic farming.
Saudi Arabia aims to modernize and diversify its agricultural sector while ensuring long-term environmental sustainability. As global and regional food systems face increasing pressure, the country seeks to align its policies with sustainable practices, including a stronger emphasis on organic agriculture. Effective policy design and implementation are critical to achieving these goals.
HFFA Research provides strategic policy advice to guide the design of a sustainable agricultural development plan. This includes stakeholder consultation, technical and economic analysis, and best-practice alignment. The project culminates in the formulation of a detailed implementation strategy tailored to the Kingdom’s agro-ecological and institutional context.
