The HFFA Research GmbH presents in a new study the concept of an “Agri-Ecological Partnership” (AEP). The aim of an AEP is to balance the interests of agriculture and extended agribusiness as well as the concerns of environmental protection and resource conservation, thereby minimizing conflicts among different land use interests. The study investigates possibilities and restrictions as well as opportunities and risks of the AEP concept and discusses how AEP could actually work in practice. The study was conducted in close cooperation with the Ruhr-Forschungsinstitut für Innovations- und Strukturpolitik e.V. (RUFIS).
